Ander Herrera Made Some Strange Claims After Manchester City Beat PSG.

Ander Herrera astonishingly alleged that PSG were the better team on Tuesday night against Manchester City, and that the ref had said to one player to ‘f**k off.’
Manchester City went into the semi-final second leg in Etihad already holding a 2-1 advantage and understanding PSG needed two goals to progress to the final.
In the absence of their star Kylian Mbappe, PSG didn’t show enough pushing forward throughout 90 minutes, with Marquinhos’ first half header that hit the top of the bar the nearest they got to scoring.
The French giants side didn’t even manage a single shot on target from the 28th minute of the first leg to the end of the second leg, and City finally managed to come out 2-0 winners in Manchester.
To most, it would be sufficient to suggest that Man City, who did in truth need to defend with some excellent blocks, were the more solid team, but not for Herrera.
“We were the better side for 70 minutes. We tried it all. We attacked, we tried to attack,” the former Manchester United midfielder told RMC after the game.
“We are going to leave here with our heads held high.”

Despite the 31-year-old’s opinion, they could hold their heads high, the PSG players appeared to lose their heads towards the end of the game, as they had in Paris six days earlier.
Angel di Maria was sent off in the 69th minute, for a bad kick out at Fernandinho, and they were very lucky not to have more of their players survive from being sent off.
However, Herrera accused the referee’s actions, claiming that the referee had told teammate Leandro Paredes to ‘f*ck off.’
“The referee tonight said f**k off to Leandro Paredes. If we say that we get a 3 or 4 match ban.”
He wasn’t the only PSG midfielder to complain about the ref either. Marco Verratti backed up his teammates adding, “The referee also told me ‘f*** you’ twice. For them it’s normal, if you say that it’s ten matches [ban]. I talk a lot to the referee but I don’t say that.”
