‘Amazing’: Gabriel Martinelli mentions the two Arsenal players he loves playing alongside

After his performance against Liverpool on Sunday, Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli has received a lot of praise.

Martinelli scored against Jurgen Klopp’s team in under 60 seconds and assisted Bukayo Saka.

Martinelli stated in an interview with the Evening Standard how much he enjoys playing with Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka.

Martinelli has progressed from a role player to a starter under Mikel Arteta.

Arsenal has become a lethal force from both wings thanks to Saka’s energy and creativity.

With Gabriel Jesus as an energetic number nine, Premier League defenses have struggled to cope with Arsenal’s attacking onslaught.

Given how effective Jesus and Saka have been this season, it’s no surprise Martinelli enjoys playing with them.

Speaking to the Evening Standard, Martinelli said: “We have a lot of time to improve, and I think we have great quality, and I think we can do more.

“(Jesus) is a great guy, not just on the pitch but off the pitch as well.

“He is always trying to help me and all the players. He is 25 but he has a lot of experience and everyone loves him.

“(Mikel Arteta) said to me, to Jesus, to Bukayo, to be the same, to be us. I think we did it and we deserved the win.”

“It’s amazing to play alongside them and I am so happy to have the opportunity to play with them.”

This season, the trio has started every Premier League game.

They have now scored 21 goals between them and will all be trying to compete at the World Cup next month.

There’s no telling how far Arsenal can go this season if Arteta can maintain playing with his favorite starting lineup.

Martinelli, Jesus, and Saka are at the heart of the system he’s put in place, and it’s functioning flawlessly.
