With Aguero’s contract coming to an end this summer, his former club Independiente are preparing to launch a shock-free transfer bid for their former Manchester City star.

Aguero began his career with the Independiente, with the striker admiting his desire to end his glittering career with his boyhood club. Club Independiente has admitted their intention to re-sign Sergio Aguero this summer.

With plenty of big clubs looking for Aguero’s services, Club Independentie admits their inability to match Aguero’s sum who pockets £230,000a week at Manchester City.

Independiente coach, Julio Cesar Falcioni, who worked with Aguero just before the strike joined Atletico Madrid is eager to reunite with his former star after returning to Club Independiente.

Julio said:
“We have talked to Yoyo and he is going to call Aguero to see if he feels like coming back.

“It would be a pleasure to coach him again, but here he will not be able to sign something similar to what he earns there.

“He would be with all his friendly people again, defending the colours he loves.
“I know there is an intention to call him, to propose that he returns home, returns to his country so that he can be comfortable and help us make a bigger Independiente.
“We know each other a lot. We had a year together and we both have fond memories of that time.”
