“Absolute idiot…” – Ex-Tottenham player walks out of a furious debate over Arsenal’s Odegaard

Jamie O’Hara, who used to play for Tottenham Hotspur, stormed out of an intense discussion regarding Martin Odegaard, the Arsenal player.

Over the weekend, Odegaard scored his 10th goal of the season in the league, which is the first time he has ever achieved a double-digit tally in his career.

Additionally, he has assisted his teammates in scoring another six goals while leading Arsenal to the top of the Premier League table as their captain.

Currently, Arsenal has a five-point lead over their closest rival, Manchester City, and they only need to play 11 more games to win their first league title since 2004.

Martin Odegaard has played a crucial role in the team’s success under manager Mikel Arteta.

In fact, his performances have been so impressive that Jamie Redknapp, a pundit on Sky Sports, stated that Odegaard has been the best midfielder in the Premier League this season, surpassing Kevin De Bruyne of Manchester City.

Odegaard better than De Bruyne?

Following Manchester City’s dominant 7-0 victory over RB Leipzig in the Champions League, Jamie O’Hara and Jason Cundy engaged in a debate about whether Kevin De Bruyne or Martin Odegaard has had a better season.

During the discussion, O’Hara called Cundy an “idiot” for backing Odegaard instead of De Bruyne.

The former Tottenham midfielder said on TalkSport: “It’s got nothing to do with Arsenal.

“I’ll tell you what’s going on, I’ve sat here for 18 months having to work with this absolute idiot of a man who puts Odegaard in front of Kevin De Bruyne.

“Have you just watched Kevin De Bruyne play tonight? He put on a masterclass.

“You’re telling me if there was a cup final tomorrow, you wouldn’t want Kevin De Bruyne in your team and you’d take Odegaard.

“He’s had a great season, don’t get me wrong, but Kevin De Bruyne has been unbelievable for the last five seasons.”

O’Hara added: “I can’t deal with this anymore, we have to break. I need a coffee. I’ve got to leave the office!”

Jamie O’Hara actually stormed out of the studio.
