A major twist in Gabriel Jesus decision emerge as Arsenal, Tottenham fight to sign him
Fabrizio Romano has just provided an update on Arsenal’s pursuit of Gabriel Jesus, as well as a comment on Tottenham.
Both Arsenal and Tottenham have been linked with the Manchester City player in recent months.
Goal.com reported on Monday that Jesus’ representatives were travelling to London to negotiate with Arsenal in try to finalise a deal.
Tottenham, on the other hand, have reportedly increased their interest in the Brazil international in recent days.
Gianluca di Marzio reportedly said Spurs were’moving beneath the radar’ in order to capture Jesus before Arsenal.
The newest Romano report will be welcomed by Arsenal fans.
The transfer guru said on Twitter that negotiations involving the Gunners are “very advanced.”

Tottenham & PSG, still waiting to see the end of this story.
Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur and Paris Saint-Germain are “still waiting” to see what happens.
Noel Whelan has suggested that Gabriel Jesus may choose to sign for Tottenham over Arsenal in this summer transfer window.
The Brazilian is top target for Mikel Arteta and Edu as the Gunners seek to replace Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.
According to Noel Whelan, the Gunners may stuffer a deadly blow because Tottenham could sign him and hand because of their Champions League qualification
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Premier League striker insisted the chance to continue to play in Europe’s premier club competition will play a “big” part in Jesus’ thinking.
“He told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “The only more attractive thing about right now is Champions League football and that’s what Jesus has had ever since he’s arrived at Man City.
“Big players want to play on big stages and it doesn’t get any bigger than the Champions League.
“If Tottenham are serious about landing Jesus then, for me, with what Arsenal are building and what Tottenham are building, there’s not too much between the two in terms of stadiums and facilities. Obviously, Tottenham’s [stadium] is brand new but you’re not going to turn your nose up at playing at the Emirates.
“The only thing for me is that competition. When you’ve been playing in it for five years, it’s difficult to leave it. I think Jesus would want to be part of that. That means Tottenham is a more attractive offer.”
Arsenal, without a doubt, requires Jesus more than Spurs.
The Gunners have only one senior centre-forward in their squad, the gifted but inexperienced Eddie Nketiah.
Spurs, on the other hand, have world-class Harry Kane, with Son Heung-min and Lucas Moura capable of filling in at center-forward.
Arsenal appears to be in the lead, but anything can happen until the formal announcements are made.
According to one report, City wants roughly £43 million for their man.
