16 years old wonderkid breaks Pele’s hat-trick record.

16 years old Nicolás Siri has broken Pele’s hat-trick record by becoming the youngest player to do so. Nicolás Siri, who plays for Uruguayan side Danubio scored three in a 5-1 riot over Boston River at the Centenaro Stadium.

His performance drew attention with Barcelona reportedly monitoring his progress. While speaking to the press, Siri was very delighted. He said: “I am very happy, it is a dream come true.”

“Luckily everything is happening. It was the first time I played in the Centennial, the truth is that it is all a dream.
“I always try to enjoy myself, I hope to continue like this.”

Danubio currently are 11th in the Uruguayan Primera División after they started the season poorly. The maturity that was evident in this wonderkid was far beyond his age.

The wonderkid added: “We are in a delicate moment, but we need to face the best we have, playing football and doing what we know how to do. We will continue to fight until the end.”

Siri is just 16 years,11 months, and 2 days. He has scored four goals in the first two professional matches, which is incredible. His brother Enzo was stunned by his performance and took on Twitter to show his disbelief. His hat-trick record beats that achieved by world icon Pele.
