Juventus player sparks transfer rumours after changing his Facebook picture to Man United shirt
A Juventus player sparked widespread excitement after his Facebook profile picture changed to an image of him in a Manchester United jersey.
Weston McKennie initially seemed to hint at a summer transfer when his profile showed him in United’s colors, but the image was removed shortly afterward.
Despite the brief appearance, the photo circulated widely, but McKennie quickly downplayed any connection to a move to Old Trafford. He claimed his account had been hacked and that an attempt had also been made to hack his Instagram account, which he managed to prevent.
His profile picture has since been restored to its original state.

McKennie joined Juventus from Schalke in 2020 for €25 million and spent six months on loan with Leeds United in the Premier League last season.
His contract with Juventus runs until 2025, and he has expressed no intention of leaving the club where he played 35 matches in all competitions this season.
Meanwhile, Manchester United is gearing up for a summer of changes as Sir Jim Ratcliffe plans to revamp the squad.
Reports earlier in the week indicated nearly the entire first team could be up for sale, but manager Erik ten Hag dismissed these rumors as a “joke.”
